Gathering Place Family, WE MADE IT! 🎉🙌 Twelve weeks. From Genesis to Revelation. What an incredible journey we've been on together! We've walked through the Garden of Eden, stood alongside Abraham, witnessed God's faithfulness through Joseph, experienced the Passover, explored the Tabernacle, looked at the Bronze Serpent, spent three days with Jonah, discovered the King we needed, heard the voices of the prophets, and celebrated the promise of the New Covenant. And

Hey Gathering Place Family! I have a special request, and I could really use your help this Saturday! We’re working on a brand-new 45–60 second intro video that will play as we begin our services at Gathering Place. We want it to capture something that’s difficult to manufacture — YOU! We want to show what Gathering Place really looks like: people connecting, laughing, worshipping, serving, talking, praying, having a coffee, welcoming someone new, and simply doing life togeth

With everything happening in the world today, there is another conversation simmering within the Church: Can women lead in the Church? It's a question that can quickly become controversial. But if our desire is truly to honour God, then our answer cannot be based on culture, tradition, social media, personalities—or even our personal preferences. We have to go to God's Word. I actually began studying this subject several weeks before leaving for Florida. Since then, t

Hey Gathering Place Family! It’s hard to believe, but we only have three messages left in ONE STORY! Over these past several weeks, we’ve travelled through Scripture and discovered something incredible: the Bible has been pointing toward Jesus all along. We’ve seen Him foreshadowed in Abraham and the promised son, in Joseph, in the Passover Lamb, in the Tabernacle, in the Bronze Serpent, through Jonah, and in the King we desperately needed. This Saturday, we move into

Gathering Place Family, Sometimes the moments we would never choose become the very moments God uses to change everything. This Saturday, we continue ONE STORY, and we're stepping into one of the most familiar stories in the Bible—but there is far more happening beneath the surface than a man, a storm, and a very large fish. What if Jonah's story was never really about the fish? What if those three days were pointing toward something much bigger? And what if the part

Good afternoon, What if you were created for more than simply getting through life? We’ve seen it over and over again: people who genuinely love God, attend church, and want to make a difference—but still wrestle with a question they can’t quite answer: “What am I actually here for?” The truth is, everyone ends up somewhere—but very few people end up somewhere on purpose. God didn’t create you accidentally. Your experiences, your gifts, your passions, your values—eve

Subject: This Saturday: Look and Live | ONE STORY Week 7 Hi Gathering Place Family, This Saturday, we continue our ONE STORY journey with Week 7: The Bronze Serpent — Look and Live. At first glance, Numbers 21 is one of those passages that can leave you wondering, “What in the world is happening here?” Israel is in the wilderness, the people rebel against God, serpents enter the camp, and then God tells Moses to lift a bronze serpent on a pole. Anyone who looked at it l

Hey Gathering Place Family! This Saturday, we continue ONE STORY with Week 5: PASSOVER: The Lamb That Saved The Passover wasn't just about Israel escaping Egypt. Nearly 1,500 years before the cross, God was already painting a picture of Jesus—the spotless Lamb whose blood would bring freedom, forgiveness, and life. The blood on the doorposts was always pointing to the blood on the cross. Come ready to worship, hear God's Word, and discover how the whole Bible really d

Gathering Place Family & Friends, What an incredible evening. Tonight wasn’t about putting on an event, creating an atmosphere, or simply having another church service. Tonight was about encountering God. And if God met you tonight—if He spoke to you, touched you, healed something, restored something, challenged you, or awakened something inside you—don’t let it go. Hold it close. Protect it. Fight for it. It’s easy to have a powerful encounter with God and then wake

Hey Gathering Place Family! This Saturday night we continue ONE STORY, and Week 4 takes us into one of the most incredible stories in the Old Testament: JOSEPH: THE REJECTED SAVIOR Most of us know at least part of Joseph’s story—the coat, the dreams, the jealous brothers, the pit, the prison and eventually the palace. But what if Joseph’s story is about something much bigger than Joseph? Throughout this series, we’ve been discovering that the Bible isn’t a collection of d

Chazown helps you begin connecting the dots between your gifts, passions, experiences, personality, and values to answer a much bigger question: “God, what did You create

Church family, What a powerful time we had together last night. As we continued our journey through One Story, we went back to the beginning and saw something incredible: even when humanity walked away from God, God didn’t walk away from humanity. Sin changed everything—but it didn’t change God’s plan. From the very beginning, God promised that a Saviour was coming. Before Abraham, before Moses, before David, before Bethlehem and before the cross, God was already writin

Hi Gathering Place family, Wow! What an amazing four weeks of At The Movies! What began as an outreach series became so much more. Together we laughed, reflected, worshipped, and most importantly, encountered Jesus. Over the past month we discovered: 🍫 Wonka reminded us not to let the world rewrite who God created us to be. ⚔️ A Knight's Tale showed us that our true identity is found in Christ—not in our past, our mistakes, or the labels others place on us. ✈️ Top Gun: M

Who are you inviting? 🎬 AT THE MOVIES continues this Saturday... and this week's story asks one unforgettable question: What if you've been living beneath the identity God intended for you? The world loves to define us by our past, our failures, our status, or what others say we can never become. But what if God sees something completely different? This Saturday we're taking a powerful movie moment and discovering what Scripture says about purpose, identity, and the
